Opera in brief: “Rita” at Cosmopolis Festival, April 2021
The Italian Cultural Institute’s production of Gaetano Donizetti’s Rita was reprised on 27 April at HKUST’s 2021 Cosmopolis Festival. Etta Fung, Chen Yong and Isaac Droscha sang Rita, Beppe and Gasparo; Hsu Wei-en was concertmaster. This production features a new arrangement for chamber ensemble by Marco Iannelli.
