A young boy follows the tail of a breeze to find a hidden bay. There he sets sail on a whirlwind journey to find a world that is ever-expanding and full of wonders. A lyrical tale of discovery, Little Bay reminds us to embrace the unknown and live with curiosity and presence.
Inspired by the writing of the author’s father, Little Bay is based on Silverstrand Beach in Clear Water Bay, Hong Kong. Before the surrounding areas of Tseung Kwan O and Hang Hau were developed, the beach saw little foot traffic. It represents for the author, and many who grew up in that area, a place of generational memories.
